During September a group of women from different congregations and provinces in South Africa, had the privilege of attending the True Woman 2016 National Women’s Conference in Indianapolis. We praise and thank the Lord for this opportunity of togetherness, of growing and learning.
What has to be the highlight of the True Woman 2016 conference is the prayer gathering the Friday evening when almost 7000 women poured out their hearts before the Lord for three hours (which felt like 20 minutes). The theme was “Uniting Hearts to Cry Out in prayer for Revival, One Cry, a Nationwide Call for Spiritual Awakening”. About 20-25 countries were represented onsite at the conference and 158 connected (at some point) to the simulcast. About 101 stayed “in” the whole time, praying together, worshiping and praising the Lord.
Wonderful friendships were forged and we came back home full of hope for our beautiful, broken country.
